πππ―βοΈπ₯π₯³π!END OF 2024 SALE! ππ₯³π₯π―βοΈππ The axe was purchased January 2023, from the warehouse, was never on the floor, and as the pictures will show, it's in excellent condition. Wild Willy is man enough to admit when a guitar is too much guitar for the old boy, and as it so happens, 7 strings is too many strings for me to reach. The guitar was on a wall hanger for a few months in a safe area. Once I purchased the hardshell case ($249.00 before tax) ,it's been there since. It stays in tune, too. This Rhoads metal machine is an axe for guitarists who require the lowest of low notes and the highest of highs in one. Right now it is set to range G#1-Eb6. The set of 7-string EMGs which I normally don't enjoy, complement each other great together and sound great alone. Just know they need a 9v battery if the sound ever fizzles out. I forget that with my bass all the time. The thing feels great to play on. Very smooth, very fluid playability. Everything on it is basically new and has not been modded whatsoever, just a slight non-technical "repair", but nothing major. It stays in tune very well. You can give the Floyd Special the SLAYER treatment and still be in tune. To upgrade it, they say you can slap on a Floyd Original, and it will be magnifique. Not sure what the difference is, but very few guitars come with the Floyd Original anyway. There is some slight paint scuffing on the screws securing the pickups from a bit of jamming, but again, the guitar was still played much less than a floor model stores will call new. There is one cosmetic scuffing on the nut that secures the jack. It kept coming loose because the jack wire length was stuck internally due to routing it the long way around the pots. Before taking it to them, I tightened the nut with pliers, which scuffed its paint and did not damage the nut whatsoever; affirmed by the GC manager/tech. GC rerouted it, so there is more length. No soldering, just moving it around a different way; problem solved. GC said if it ever happens again, simply get rid of the washer under the nut so that it has more thread access, but it really shouldn't happen because it's solid. The quality of it is likely why you don't see these sell pre-owned very often. With a little TLC, it's a lifer, no doubt. I would advise against trusting the other guy's version of this guitar because its got damage, its filthy between the pickups, scarred into paint, and blatantly tampered with. There are exposed wires sitting under the bridge which should be inside the back where the knob pots are. The worst part is that he calls the condition Open Box. I wouldn't pay more than $400.00 for that one and its lack of transparency. It's seriously messed up. With the one I'm selling, you are getting basically a fresh new baby, not requiring the slightnest need for refurbishing; and worth nearly $1,700 after tax, insurance, hardshell case, and shipping if you ordered it from the factory/warehouse. Please, feel free to reach out with any questions should you have any. Below is the review that led me to buy it. A European metal music producer gave it an overall 9/10. https://youtu.be/4v3iVcIIKJo?si=fne7vjLRJZBx1hHy
